Peace and conflict prevention/resolution

Rotary projects provide training that fosters understanding and provides communities with the skills to resolve conflicts. The Panama Project is creating environments of peace by building up local self-sufficiency, carrying out service projects, and empowering local communities while working to address the underlying causes of conflict—including poverty, lack of access to education, and unequal distribution of resources.
