Supporting Projects: Integrated Community Initiatives

These initiatives create an ecosystem of resilience around our core reef and restoration efforts:

  1. Volunteer Tourism – VolunteerTourism.org
Year-round programs bringing global volunteers to assist in hands-on reef work, reforestation, education, and community health.
Every participant helps plant trees to offset their travel footprint.
  2. Doc in a Box
Modular, solar-powered medical clinics delivering healthcare to remote areas via telemedicine and portable kits.
  3. Help in a Box – Water Program
Brings clean water to underserved communities through purification systems, education, and maintenance training.
  4. The Lionfish Project
Invasive species removal through hunting tournaments, public education, and promoting lionfish as a sustainable seafood.
  5. The Turtle Project – Focus on Bocas
Protects nesting beaches, leads hatchling releases, and teaches conservation in local schools.
  6. The Tree Project
Community-wide reforestation using native trees to restore biodiversity, increase shade, and sequester carbon.
  7. The Pollinator Project
Restores habitats for bees, butterflies, and birds—supporting food systems and native plant regeneration.
  8. Bocas Bounty
Combines hydroponic agriculture, permaculture gardens, and food waste composting to promote local food security.
